I am a German born free lance Performer/ Theatre Maker/ Director/ Film Maker/ Poet/ Artist/ Facilitator/ Lecturer, the founder of the Kitchen Sink Artist Collective, and a member of the Authentic Artist Collective. I have been writing prose and poetry since my teenage years, mainly for the stage. They say my work is raw and vulnerable. I focus on trauma, mental health, mothering, love, loneliness, longing, love, death, dying, grief and survival.
I facilitate open spaces and workshops, especially for women and mothers, people with anxiety and other mental health challenges and people interested in deep diving into intergrated arts processes to guide self inquiry, changing perspectives and transformation for artistic exploration, health and wellbeing. Ongoing I hold open house 'making sessions' for artists and non artists of all walks of life in our kitchen (called "Kitchen Sink Artist Drop In") and host death cafes.
I think of myself as a Mother & Mensch, and approach all teaching and facilitation from a 'non hierachical' meeting of humans point of view, which allows us to be companions and fellow travellers/ learners/ story sharers and friends.
In the health and wellbeing sector:
I offer one to one and group work, focusing on skill sharing, personal development, emotional deep diving, self acceptance, play, relaxation, emotional literacy, resilience, authorship of our own stories, self esteem and development of healthy coping strategies to deal with life's many challenges, using integrated arts techniques.
In the arts sector:
