Joanna Rosenfeld is delighted to bring her art practice and this piece to London for the eleventh performance in the series. Joanna, born and raised in Germany is an award winning (outstanding theatre award Brighton 2018, audience choice award Rialto Theatre 2021) British performance and theatre artist, with a movement practice based in CI, Butoh and physical theatre. In Japan she performed in Tokyo, (amongst others) with Fumihiro Yoshino in After the eclipe (Cafe Muriwui), at OAG Tokyo in her choreography Kreise aus Asche with Isso Muira, Yuki Aseema, and Megumi Hoshino and in her solo’s Resonant Void (Suisei Gallery Nakano), On not being (Oriental Force), Fragments of Silence (Cafe Muriwui), memoria (Claft at iru Open Art Forum) and with Conan Amok in Luminous Ashes at Dance Base Yokohama.

Aklisa Kociu

is a London-based artist with Italian and Albanian roots.

Throughout they're life they have intensively trained as a contemporary dancer and have been performing and choreographing in venues such as the Bonnie Bird Theatre, Brighton Fringe Festival, South Bank Centre, Hope Alkazar Istanbul, We Out Here Festival and local venues in London.

Currently Aklisa is developing a personal artistic practice which includes different art mediums in order to deliver a raw, honest choreographic movements where every artistic element contributes to a deeper form of storytelling,

Thomas Moore / guitar

is a visual artist and folk/blues musician. The two practices are intertwined with the disappearing moment of a beat becoming a captured expression in paint and the colours of a painting becoming the source of a story in song He is excited to be exploring this relationship between movement and tableaux, between sound and form, with improvised sound and live dance.
